Team Profile
Guangdong Winnerway Basketball Club is the first professional basketball
team founded in China, which has implemented a unique entrepreneurial
management system as well as complete training facilities since it's established
in 1993. It is also a team with a lots of hands-on experiences, which
is quick, flexible, accurate at shooting and tough in the aspect of defense
and offense. Hence, Winnerway is known as "Southern Chinese Tiger".
For the past 2 years, Winnerway has been undergoing some massive changes
and recruiting some players with lower ages. The average age for the team
is 22 years old and the average height is 197cm. 2 of the team players
had been selected in the Chinese National Team, and the other 3 of the
players had been selected in the National Young Men Team. In addition,
Li Qun, one of the players - has also represented China in the Sydney
Olympic Games
